Dr. Lorien Sites, a native of McMinnville, Tennessee, joined Nashville Skin in July 2009. She is interested in general and medical dermatology in both adults and children as well as cosmetic and procedural dermatology.
Dr. Sites earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rhodes College where she graduated summa cum laude. She attended the University of Tennessee School of Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Medicine, summa cum laude. Dr. Sites completed her internship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, and then she moved to Nashville to complete her three-year dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. While at Vanderbilt, she received extensive training in both medical and surgical dermatology as well as lasers and cosmetics.
Dr. Sites has authored numerous articles in national peer-reviewed medical journals in dermatology. She is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, Women’s Dermatological Society, and several other local medical societies.
