Krista Koleas, MSN, FNP-BC a native of Franklin, Tennessee, has been with Nashville Skin since August of 2005. Krista earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Belmont University. She attended Vanderbilt University where she earned her Masters of Advanced Practice Nursing. After 2.5 years of working under the supervision of Dr’s. Brent Pennington and Adrian Rodriguez, Krista increased her fund of knowledge in the specialty of Dermatology and has practiced now as Nashville Skin’s Nurse Practitioner for over 12 years.
Krista is Board Certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is an active member of the Dermatology Nurses Association, the Nurse Practitioner Society of Dermatology Nurses Association, the Middle Tennessee Advanced Practice Nurses Association, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Krista is licensed and qualified to perform full-body skin cancer screenings, comprehensive dermatologic examinations, diagnose, treat and prescribe appropriate therapies. She is skilled in performing procedures that include shave biopsies, punch biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and botox.

She enjoys volunteering as a board member and Nurse Practitioner at Siloam Health, spending time with close friends and family, traveling, loving on the children in her life and hiking with her dog, Birdie. She continues to love being a part of Nashville Skin.
