Jason B. Robbins, MD

Dr. Jason B. Robbins founded Nashville Skin & Cancer in 2005. He specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer as well as dermatopathology.

Dr. Robbins received his Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology and engineering science from Vanderbilt University. He was elected into the Tau Beta Phi honor society and was named the Vanderbilt University Scholar Athlete of the year award for his academic performance and contributions as a member of the Vanderbilt Baseball Team. He then attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed a residency in Dermatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Following residency, Dr. Robbins was selected as a Fellow in Dermatopathology at Stanford University where he received extensive training in the diagnosis of melanocytic lesions, inflammatory dermatoses, and cutaneous lymphomas.

Dr. Robbins is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist. He has authored several articles in national medical journals on dermatology and dermatopathology. In addition, he has presented at the national meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatopathology, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
