Adam Allan, DO

Dr. Adam Allan has earned the reputation as a dedicated professional in the dermatology field. He is an expert in the fields of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He is a native of Florida, but family has brought him to Nashville, TN. He joined the Nashville Skin & Cancer team in July 2017. In addition to being a Dermatologist, Dr. Allan is a Field Surgeon in the Army National Guard.

Dr. Allan graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. He then earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), where he was elected to the Sigma Sigma Phi Honorary Society. While at LECOM, he received multiple academic scholarships, was awarded the Academic Achievement Award for the class of 2013, and was chosen to be the LECOM Ambassador Coordinator.

Dr. Allan completed his internship at Michigan State University – Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He then completed his dermatology residency at Michigan State University – St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. During residency, he was a clinical instructor for Michigan State University and was a cosmetic coordinator, where he became proficient at Botox, dermal fillers, and laser procedures. In his final year of training, he was elected by his faculty to be chief resident.

Dr. Allan joined the Army National Guard in 2009, acquiring a number of distinctions and medals throughout the past decade. During medical school, he served as an Army Medical Department recruiter and subsequently became a Field Surgeon, currently holding the rank of Captain. He is passionate about developing his leadership skills and serving his country.

Above all, Dr. Adam Allan is a family man who consistently strives to be a loving husband and supportive father. When he isn’t advancing his multiple vocations, he enjoys mountain biking and exploring new places. But what he values the most is the quality time he gets to spend with his amazing family and friends.
